Whenever someone wouldn't stop talking, our founder's grandmother had the same words for them: stop your yapping.

We've turned her telling-off into a promise. Most business software never yaps at all. It knows everything and says nothing until you go digging. Ours is built to speak up, and to say only what's worth hearing: who paid and who didn't, which lead has gone cold, and what needs your attention today.

Laravel, Symfony & application development

Custom web applications and SaaS platforms built on Laravel and Symfony, with Vue 3, Inertia.js and Tailwind on the front end. Software that serves many customers, stays up and stays easy to change.

AI & MCP tools

This is what “let your business talk to you” means today. We connect your own systems to AI assistants such as Claude through MCP (Model Context Protocol) servers, so you can ask your business a question in plain language and get an answer from your real data.

We run our own: Hello, an AI receptionist with a hosted MCP server for each business.

  • MCP servers for your CRM, billing and operations systems, with permissions you control.
  • Read-only access where that is enough, and carefully scoped actions where it isn't: adding a lead, issuing an invoice, updating a ticket.
  • AI features inside the products you already have: assistants, automation, document processing and reporting.
  • Every request is logged and limited to the data each person is allowed to see.

Hello by Yap is an AI receptionist for busy local businesses that miss calls. Connect your website once, and Stripe or other systems if you like, then confirm the facts Hello may quote.

  • It answers your phone

    Hello picks up your business number, answers questions about hours, prices and stock, and takes requests such as test drives, appointments and messages.

  • Your own AI link

    Each business gets a public link, mcp.yap.life/your-business, that customers can add to Claude or ChatGPT. It uses the same confirmed facts as the phone.

  • Private questions for your team

    Staff sign in from Claude or ChatGPT, or call a PIN-protected line, and ask about today's calls and requests, or Stripe sales, subscriptions and payouts.

  • Nothing happens without a yes

    Every request is read back and waits for a yes, then your team confirms it. Hello quotes only facts you've confirmed, and tells callers they're speaking with an AI.

One plan: $19.99 a month, plus usage at cost +20%. No contracts, per-seat fees or tiers.

    We start with how your business actually runs, not with a technology. What do you need to know each morning? Where does work get stuck?

    We agree what to build and what to leave out, in plain language, before any code is written. You see the screens and the data flows early.

  3. Build

    Small, working releases you can try as we go. Clean, documented code on well-known frameworks, so you are never locked in to us.

  4. Run & support

    We host, monitor and maintain what we build. When something needs attention, the aim is that you hear it from us first.

From a Greek island, for clients anywhere

Yap.life is a small, senior team based on Lesvos, in the north-eastern Aegean. Between us we bring 25 years of experience building software for businesses.

We don't only build for others. We run multiple SaaS products and CRMs in production ourselves, including our own AI receptionist, Hello, so we know what it takes to keep software working on an ordinary Tuesday, not just on launch day.

The island gives us clear light, a steady pace and time to think properly. The work reaches clients wherever they are.
